We strictly enforce a comprehensive safety management system, whilst continuously reviewing company practices to ensure that we reflect current best practice standards in occupational health and safety.

Environment

A strong ethos of environmental responsibility exists throughout Ophir Gold. This approach is fundamental to ensuring the long-term sustainability of both the company's mining and exploration operations.

We acknowledge that we have a clear responsibility towards the environment. Environmental policies have been established to ensure that our field operations comply with permits and licenses, and have minimal impact on the surrounding environment. A comprehensive Environmental Management Program (EMP) details all environmental monitoring and reporting to be undertaken.
