The Ophir Gold Story
Ophir Gold Limited is a New Zealand privately owned and operated gold exploration company with a growing portfolio of highly prospective projects. The Company was formed in April 2006, and secured the exciting Ophir Gold Project. This tenement is located in the heart of Central Otago reef gold country two hours drive northwest of Dunedin. Ophir Gold is currently working up this highly prospective tenement which lies 70 km North East from the world class Macraes Gold Deposit that has to date has produced around 2 Moz (~60 tonnes) of gold.
